Choose a pad. Fold it lengthwise with the colored dot on the outside. Remove the dot and cut a ¼” slit on each side of the fold to form a ½” opening. Peel off the pad’s protective film. Open the sealed C-Nub packet. Choose a nub. Round out the pad opening with your finger tip. Pinch the C-Nub head to compress it. Insert the compressed tip through the opening you made on the adhesive side of the pad. Gently push the C-Nub entirely through to the pad front. Finally press the base firmly to the adhesive side of the pad.
Position the pad between the top of your thighs. The next step is important: take time to position the C-Nub in the small space between the inside of the clitoris and the urinary track opening, parting both labia to do this. Smooth the length of the pad in place. Closing your thighs slightly to hold this exact position, raise a taut under garment completely. Press the length of the adhesive side of the pad to the under garment. You are good to go!

Discrete muscle movements of the upper thigh or just crossing your legs are enough to trigger the mild friction necessary to temporarily block the urge to urinate, giving you a welcome measure of control over this impulse.
The C-Nub is reusable. Unfasten the circumference of the base from the adhesive side of the pad. Gently pull the expanded C-Nub completely through the pad. Rinse and squeeze. Work a drop of mild dish detergent through the nub. Rinse and squeeze again. Finally press dry with a clean towel. Let stand to complete compression in the tin lid provided, ready to be inserted into a fresh pad.
